Who Am I?
I am truly a New Jersey girl, born and raised here. Growing up, I lived all over the state, and when I was ten we moved to Monmouth County, by the beach-moved to the Shore, as we say in Jersey. The beaches were a whole new world I fell in love with. I can´t imagine ever living away from the Shore again.
My husband, Merv, and I live less than a mile from the beach. Each morning we start our day with a walk on the beach with our dogs, Daisy and Dobbs. They are our four legged children, a very sweet Rottweiler and a chunky chocolate Labrador Retriever. There is no better way to start your day, winter, fall, or spring, than with a walk on the beach with a couple of happy dogs.
I obtained my real estate license in 1976, and I´ve been helping people buy and sell property ever since. There is no better job than a job you love, and I really do love real estate. Each day brings new customers and challenges: the job is never boring. My husband, who is also a licensed salesperson, is a team player. He helps out with inspections, delivering paperwork, holding open houses, filling in at showings or where ever he´s needed. He is also very eager to help customers to handle any problems. He has calmness about him and a take-charge attitude that serve him well. Before assisting me in real estate, he was a member of the California Highway Patrol for 29 years, retiring as a sergeant from a post in a large metropolitan area.
Most of my client´s will agree that I provide a personalized service, at a level exceeded by few. My client´s feel as if I am working for them alone, because I am devoted to handling all their needs and committed to being there for them right through their closing-and then some.
When I am not working real estate, I give my time and energy to the Monmouth County SPCA, whether raising funds or helping out walking dogs.I feel very blessed in my life, and want to help provide for those who are less fortunate.
It´s so easy to write a check donating a portion of my income to charity, or sometimes a charity that my customer believes in. But I find the real test is to make the time to give of myself. It´s so easy to get caught up with work, as it is really something I enjoy.
In our free time Merv and I also enjoy biking and going to the beach, where we spend almost all our free time in the summer. In the cooler weather we enjoy going into New York City to see a show, enjoy the fabulous restaurants, or just walk around the stores and neighborhoods. The city is only an hour away, and public transportation is an alternative to driving. There are also many fine local restaurants in our area that we enjoy, along with a few community theaters.
